So grab your ingredients and preheat the oven—it’s time for some delicious cinnamon rolls!
Cinnamon rolls are a beloved pastry that dates back centuries, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate National Cinnamon Roll Day than baking up a batch or two. While many folks stick to the traditional recipe, there are plenty of ways to fancy up your cinnamon rolls with no-recipe ideas as well. From orange-cardamom to Oreo, maple bacon, strawberry, pumpkin spice dark chocolate, roasted pistachio or apple pie cinnamon rolls—the possibilities are truly endless when it comes to creative recipes and flavor choices.
If you’d like to enjoy multiple flavors without having to bake several batches of cinnamon rolls at once, why not try batch baking them? For instance, you could separate your dough into various flavors while still utilizing all the same ingredients (like butter and sugar). Then roll each section out as you normally would before adding whatever toppings make it special—from chocolate chips to walnuts or dried cranberries. This method is perfect for those looking for a variety of flavors without having too much leftover food lying around after baking.
